II. Mechanized Tunnelling and Microtunneling Course will be held on 27-28 September 2013, Grand Cevahir Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey. This course is organized by Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technologies (TSITT) and Turkish Tunneling Society.

Our course is intended for public works and utility officials, engineers, planners, managers, contractors, and equipment manufacturers involved in any phase of trenchless technology. MECHANIZED TUNNELLING and MICROTUNNELLING SHORT COURSE

4-5 October 2012, Sanliurfa - TURKEY

TSITT (Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technology) held the MECHANIZED TUNNELING AND MICROTUNNELING SHORT COURSE in Sanliurfa Hilton Hotel TR on 4-5 October 2012 with the valuable support of TTS (Turkish Tunneling Society) and ISTT. Many local and international participants attended this unique mechanized tunneling and microtunneling short course of Turkey.

MECHANIZED TUNNELING AND MICROTUNNELING SHORT COURSE started with the welcoming speech of Mr. Yasin Torun - Chairman of TSITT and Prof. Dr. Nuh Bilgin - Chairman of TTS. Afterwards, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemal Balci of ITU (Istanbul Technical University) made a presentation with the title of 'Site and Laboratory Investigations'. Then, Prof. Dr. Nuh Bilgin of ITU made a presentation with the title of 'Principles of TBM Design and Selection, Problems Encountered in Large Diameter TBM Tunneling'. Thereafter, Mr. Bahadir Cinar of PENATRADE made a presentation with the title of 'Utility Tunnelling'.

2-3 October 2012, Sanliurfa - TURKEY

TSITT (Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technology) held the NO DIG TURKEY 2012 CONFERENCE in Sanliurfa TR on 2-3 October 2012 with the valuable support of ISTT. Many local and international participants attended this unique trenchless event of Turkey.

NO DIG TURKEY 2012 CONFERENCE started with the welcoming speech of Mr. Yasin Torun - Chairman of TSITT. Afterwards, Mr. John Hemphill - Executive Director of ISTT and Prof. Dr. Samuel Ariaratnam - Chairman of ISTT gave their opening speeches. Then, Mr. Fevzi Yucetepe - Deputy Mayor of Sanliurfa, Mr. Guven Karacuha - Deputy General Manager of DSI (State Hydraulic Works) and Mr. Sadrettin Karahocagil - President of GAP (Southeastern Anatolia Project Regional Development Administration) gave their opening speeches. Afterwards, Mr. Celalettin Guvenc - Governor of Sanliurfa gave his keynote speech. Mr. Guvenc mentioned that trenchless technology is a must for Sanliurfa and entire Turkey and he is very honoured as this year's event is held in the city of Sanliurfa - a unique city having a history more than twelve thousand years. Additionally, he mentioned that the Government will continuously support TSITT and the International No Dig 2015 Conference and Exhibition which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey.

18-19 November 2011, Halic Congress Center, Istanbul - TURKEY

TSITT (Turkish Society for Infrastructure and Trenchless Technology) held the NO-DIG TURKEY SUMMIT in Istanbul on 18-19 November 2011 with the valuable support of ISTT. Many local and international participants attended this unique trenchless event of Turkey.

NO-DIG TURKEY SUMMIT started with the welcoming speech of Mr. Yasin Torun - Chairman of TSITT. Afterwards, Mr. John Hemphill - Executive Director of ISTT and Prof. Dr. Samuel Ariaratnam - Chairman of ISTT gave their opening speeches. Then, Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Works Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroglu gave his keynote speech. Prof. Dr. Eroglu mentioned that trenchless technology is a must for entire Turkey and he is very glad with the establishment and the activities of TSITT. Additionally, he mentioned that the Ministry will continuously support TSITT and the International No Dig 2015 Conference and Exhibition which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey.
